A vast and gorgeous meadow of summer flowers has sprung up in the Sydney CBD!
It’s in the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The meadow was full of people. Small children were running along the winding pathways with bright, colourful zinnias, cosmos and marigolds, towering overhead. Others found their own beauty complemented by the lovely scene.
Insects were delirious with joy. I was too.
My visit was last Saturday, so there is still time for you to hop on a train and head to the big smoke to enjoy this wonderful botanic exhibit. Don’t forget your camera!
Have you grown a meadow garden? I’m keen to find out how it’s done. Any tips you can share?
