Seasons of change in New England

The New England town of Uralla was buzzing last Saturday with the Seasons of New England Producers, Makers and Creators Expo.

The Go Create New England display was amazing. Here’s a small selection of some of the craft works on display there.

Vivid hand printed fabrics…

Fantastic cards…

I liked the look of Glamping New England- seems you get vases of flowers and a tea service in your cute tent.

On Sunday in Armidale, I visited the markets, where flowers were being sold. Another feast of colour! Zinnias and chrysanthemums from the cottage garden…

…with wild growing Queen Anne’s lace and juvenile eucalypt foliage…

…a late burst of summer colour to farewell the season.

It seemed to me that everyone was out to enjoy the last of the warm weather, and to celebrate the arrival of autumn.
